Antec Torque

What can I say about this design? It is absolutely stunning, a very unique PC case, as it had a modern style look to it.

What makes it different is that the motherboard is mounted at an angle. If you pair that with its panels, it makes it almost look like a sporty motorcycle or even one of those sci-fi drones you see in futuristic movies.

Now, it is worth forking up about 400 USD for it? Depends on your budget and tastes, but it is very different, enough to make your friends envious.

This fine piece of craftsmanship is made out of CNC precision cut aluminum panels and comes in either red/black or black/white.

Measurement for this enclosure is about 25-inch in height, 11-inch width, and 24-inch in depth.

It is big, I will give you this, but is more than enough room for your components, even for water-cooling.

It has an open-air concept to allow optimal airflow and it is sandwiched in between two tempered glass side panels to show off your components.

For additional cooling, you can mount either three 120mm fans or one 360mm water-cooling radiator at both the top and front panel.

Speaking of the front panel, the I/O panel located at the top includes the standard audio jacks and USB 3.0 ports, but unlike the others, it also includes a USB 3.1 Type-C.

Cooler Master MasterFrame 700

Cooler Master is renowned for delivering quality products, providing some of the best-looking PC cases on the market, and prioritizing keeping your hardware “cooler” in more ways than one.

This PC enclosure is no exception to their standards. While it has an open-air concept design, it is quite large for this mid-sized tower at almost 28-inch wide, as it was made to be able to fit any hardware, whether it’s water-cooling or an oversized component, this will fit. Unlike its size, its price-point is somewhat reasonable at around 200 USD.

It has two hinged side panels which are attached to the main panel and you have the option of installing a panoramic tempered glass to kind of keep everything together, giving it a trapezoid shape.

On each of these side panels, you can either install a water-cooling radiator or three 120mm fans or go a bit bigger with two 140mm fans instead.

What is great about this design is that you have the option of setting it up as a professional testing rig by laying down sideways with the glass removed, giving you easy access to swap out components. It’s great for any professionals wanting to have their little workshop.

Another great option is that it is VESA mount compatible and included, which means you can get it out of your way, taking up less desk space by simply mounting it on the wall, which is a great feature. There are not a lot of computer cases on the market that you can mount on a wall, making it a unique PC case on its own.

AZZA Pyramid

Now, here is a form factor that you do not see every day. A pyramid.

This enclosure is see-through on its four sides, which are gray tempered glass panels.

It would take a bit of deskspace having the base at 19-inch length and width, having 23 inches in height.

Each panel has a gap on both sides, allowing air to flow through, giving it good air circulation, and to keep your components nice and cool, there is room to mount three 120mm fans at the bottom of the case and room for one included RGB 120mm fan that is located at the top of the Pyramid.

Please note: Before purchasing this gaming PC case, there is one thing to take into consideration and it is the size of your GPU, as larger-sized GPUs won’t or would barely fit the enclosure.

A nice feature with this case is that it allows you to install your graphic card either horizontally or vertically, provided that you have a PCI-E cable, as the case is equipped with a bracket to hold your graphic card parallel to your motherboard.

It is a quite unique PC case that is very cool looking, very functional with its I/O front panel and its flip glass access panel at the back giving you access to those card ports for your external components or cables.

Although it may take a chunk of room on your desk, it will also take a chunk of your money, with the Azza’s Pyramid retailing at a hefty 400 USD.

JONSBO MechWarrior MOD-3

This unique PC case kind of looks like a dragon, having scales at the top. The design is simply incredible. It is very different but in a good way. Much like the Antec Torque where they share similar traits in the form factor, having an open-air design and mounting the motherboard diagonally.

There is no restriction in size when it comes to the motherboard as it can accommodate from an E-ATX to as little as an ITX.

This enclosure is made out of aluminum/magnesium plates and tempered glass on its sides. Its size is approximately 9-inch wide, 25-inch deep, and 24-inch high.

Speaking of size, your video card should not exceed 400mm (15.7-inches) long.

Its front panel is located on the lower left side and contains two USB 3.0, with an audio and mic jack.

Now, if you want to get your hands on this gaming PC case for your next build, it will set you back a whopping 500 USD, but it looks awesome and you have the choice of colors between black, white, and silver.

Vetroo K2

Another unique PC case with an odd shape. A cylinder. It almost looks like an aircraft turbine engine. It is made of steel plate and acrylic see-through side panel

Much like a turbine engine it had a huge 200mm RGB fan at the front behind tempered glass, with a mesh grille for air intake and a smaller fan at the back to push the air outwards.

In this computer case, the motherboard rests horizontally with the possibility of mounting either a 240mm water-cooling unit or two 120mm fans on top of it, to let that hot air out.

Please note: Due to its size, this case only supports M-ATX or Mini-ATX motherboards. You also want to make sure your GPU is no longer than 240mm.

Size-wise, this “turbine” is roughly 12-inch in diameter, with a length of a bit shy of 18-inch (17.7 inches). Its front panel is located on top having two USB 2.0, one USB 3.0, and audio jacks, along with the standard power and reset buttons.

This one is set at a more reasonable price compared to others in this list, retailing ~ 100 USD.

Final Thoughts

So there you have it, unique PC case designs that might tempt you into buying one of them for your next build, but at a cost.

Why buy a cheaper more boring, more plain, boxy, or traditionally shaped case, when you can get something … different?

Only you or your wallet can decide whether or not to spend that much money on something more exotic. If you can’t afford something fancy, then perhaps Vetroo’s K2 turbine-looking computer case might be what you need, being the cheapest option out of the five.

It also depends on your needs or the desk space available as most of them are pretty bulky. Although, if room is an issue, you can opt for Cooler Master’s MasterFrame wall-mounted case.

Rome was not built in one day, but your PC can be with one of these best-looking PC cases. So enjoy and game on.
